Stick up cam indicates battery low after full charge

Had this happen to me and figured it out so I thought I’d post what happened. The stick up cam is mounted outdoors with a solar panel connected. After using it for about 1 year the camera indicated the battery needed charging. This was odd as the solar panel keeps it charged. After checking the connections I took the battery out and charged it to 100%. When the battery was placed back in the camera it still indicated the battery needed charging. Thinking the battery needed to be replaced so I ordered a new one. After 2 weeks and my wallet $30 lighter I charged the new battery and when placed in the camera it STILL indicated the battery was low (6% charge). So I deleted the camera, set it up again, and it worked fine (battery 100%). Hope this helps someone else avoid the time and cost if they encounter the same problem.
