Stick Up Battery Cam motion sensitivy zone reduced vertically

Recently, I noticed that I was not getting alerts as early as I had been in the past with my Ring Stick Up Battery 3rd Generation cam. Upon going into 'Camera Motion Zones' I found that the zone editing view has become reduced vertically, from the top down, by about 25% as compared to the full view of the camera. Previously the motion zone editing view was the full view of my camera, absolutely, no question. Since I am not receiving alerts as early as I had been this is a serious problem that affects the performance of the camera. I have checked the zone view on two different devices, an Apple iPad and an Android tablet, and it’s the same on both, so I don’t think it’s an endpoint device issue. The camera has been installed and working fine for over 2 years, so something has changed. Is it an issue with Settings? I have gone through what seem to be related settings and don’t see what might cause such a strange reduction in the motion zone. May a bug have been introduced in a firmware update? My cam is currently on vs. cam-1.23.11000. Thanks
