Solar panel connected but doesn’t charge

We have two batteries and both were at XXXX% since installation. Sunday, our battery was at 90% and 13%. Solar has been connected since installation. At the start of the day, we get alerts that say, “would you like to switch to wired mode” when all we have is the solar panel connected. We stay on battery mode. For about 10 minutes, it shows the lightening bolt, indicating it’s charging, then it goes away. The next day, batteries show 36% and 7%. No charge. Then within the hour, both are at 7%. Yes, we have the settings where there’s very minimal impact. Yes we’ve checked to ensure the solar is secure and connected. Yes we get several hours of direct sunlight. Even with all this, it doesn’t charge and battery drains quickly. We’ve done the reboot and troubleshooting and nothing works. Our other camera that’s connected to solar with the aux input has no issues. This “new” cam version with solar panel usbc connection has been horrible. I feel cheated and it’s very frustrating.
