Software update every time I reset?
I’ve had to reset my Stick Up Cams a lot lately because of the battery-draining-in-a-day bug. Every time I put a cam in setup mode and go through the steps, it tells me it needs to update its software. Even if I’ve reset the same camera just a few days ago. Is this normal?

Hi @shueytexas! Good call on trying out a reset. Resetting, by holding the setup button for 20 seconds, should require a new setup and allow for the update to take place again. If you feel this is getting stuck in update, try moving the Ring device near your router until the update is complete. As @Eagle328 shared, if this concern persists, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times. If you are outside of the US, please read our response to COVID-19 [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360041597471) to see how to contact support.

That's not normal. Once the firmware has been updated, it should not ask after a reset. It sounds like the update is stuck. I'd reach out to customer service. They can see the state of the device and it's firmware status. Information on customer support below.
