Set a permanent zoom

Stick up Wired Indoor/Outdoor 2ng Gen mounted just below ceiling in a corner for maximum visibility in 2 rooms. Bad part is this great camera has such a wonderful wide view angle that it is creating a tube affect when viewed or recorded. I can zoom in and it passes the tube affect.       Did something ever come of this? I would love the ability to set the permanent zoom and i can't seem to find anything on the app, not sure if i'm just missing it
