Security Issues with Ring Video Cameras providing video to unauthorized phones
wireless-security-cameras

I recently installed several cameras, doorbell, and Ring Alarm system. All the devices are using the same wireless router, except the base station for the alarm is hardwired to that router. I'm an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer (40 +) and I know what I saw, but have no explanation for this other than some kind of security leak in Ring products. I have three routers in my house. I have a couple of smart phones. Only my Samsung 20+ 5G has the ring App installed and uses my E-mail associated with my Ring Account. The "LEAK" was observed on the LG 4G phone I only use for playing games and streaming music. It was using the same 2.4 GHz wireless router as the Ring devices, but otherwise has no relation to them, and no accounts associated with Ring on it. I was closing open apps on the LG4 when suddenly for about 4-6 seconds of Ring Camera Video Motion Detection I had viewed 5 hours earlier on my Samsung 20+ 5G through a different router, was displayed on my LG4 phone. Since there is no link other then the shared router between the LG4 phone and ring devices and no Ring App or other accounts (email etc.) on the LG4 associated with Ring accounts, I have no explanation how that video was displayed on that phone. I'm sure I can't recreate this, but I'm concerned that my recorded video can appear on phone, that is not associated with or logged into my Ring Account.
