Hi @SIBBO666. I've done some research to find out what type of tip is on our barrel connector. I was not able to find the exact dimensions or type of tip. What I would suggest is to find an adapter that can work with our [Indoor/Outdoor Power Adapter](https://ring.com/collections/accessories/products/indoor-outdoor-power-adapter-barrel-plug). Since this is a Ring product, you can rest assured that performance and compatibility will be top notch. If you have any further questions, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). ...but that's 240v in UK. So you're suggesting a 12v step-up transformer to 240v, for your adapter/transformer to step-down to 5v? SERIOUSLY??? Can't you ask someone in Technical, or Product Design?

Hi @SIBBO666. I apologize, I didn't know you were located in the UK. For future reference, we do have a [UK Security Cams](https://community.ring.com/t5/Security-Cams/bd-p/uksecuritycams) board where you can get information that is relevant to your region. As this a neighbor-to-neighbor support forum rather than a direct line to support, it may be best for you to reach out to our support team directly to answer any specific technical questions as opposed to the general information that I'm able to provide. Please read our response to COVID-19 [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360041597471) to see how to contact support. UK 240V / USA 110V not relevant... just need to know about the 5v tip. but step-up/step-down makes no sense whether 12v/240v and 240v/5v or 12v/110v and 120v/5v...
