Ring Indoor Cam 2nd Gen Error P1-99
Hello, I'm experiencing issues with my indoor camera (2nd generation). I'm unable to connect to Wi-Fi (error P1-99). After an initial update, the camera got disconnected from Wi-Fi, and since then, I haven't been able to reconnect it. I've tried reconfiguring the camera using two different Android phones, but with no success. I called technical support, and they sent me a second camera, but the same issue occurred after downloading the update – I couldn't reconnect the camera. I've disabled the 5GHz Wi-Fi to keep only the 2.4GHz, but still no success. No matter what I do, I keep getting the P1-99 error. I've also tried resetting both cameras (by holding the top button for 10/20 seconds), but the cameras don't reset. What should I do? Regards

Hi @Caitlyn_Ring Yes, I'm getting stuck at the Wi-Fi connection step. The light on my Indoor Cam is flashing blue. Apart from the camera not finding the Wi-Fi and the P1-99 error, I don't have any other information. Thank you for your assistance.

C@user_82af9e. A flashing blue light could indicate different things. For example, a slow blinking pattern indicates the Camera is in setup mode, while two quick blinks in repetition would indicate a failed setup due to the incorrect wifi password. Please try these troubleshooting steps which address common setup issues. Also verify that the ports and protocols used by Ring devices are open on your network. If this issue persists after trying these suggestions, the next step is to contact our support team.

Hi @user_82af9e. Which part of the setup process are you getting stuck at - the wifi connection step? Do you see any light patterns on the Indoor Cam, or any other information in the Ring app aside from the error code you shared?
