Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus Problem
I have (3) Floodlight Cam Wired Plus units on my property. About a month ago the lights starting activating on their own at different times of the day. The App says they're off but they're not. Only solution is to turn all lights on/off through the App or power them off and back on. This has been going on daily for a while now. I suspect it's a bad firmware update. Kinda frustrating... Anyone else?

I'm guessing it had to be a bad firmware update and they're just not admitting the problem. Every complaint I've seen about this indicates it started at about the same time for everyone. It's aggravating and they need to fix it.

JHi neighbors. If you have tried the steps mentioned in this thread and are still having the same concern, please give our support team a call to have this looked into further. They will have access to taking a deeper look into this than we can here in the Community.

@Justin_Ring, I have called... twice. Once over two weeks ago, then a week later (over a week ago). The first time I was told that it was elevated to engineering. The second time I called they eventually transferred me to "advanced tech support" (if that's really a thing). Advanced Tech support told me that it was never elevated to engineering. Someone is lying to me (VERY frustrating). I do plan on calling again, but I'm starting to feel I'm just wasting my time. My mission now is to get as many people as I can who are experiencing this issue to call and report it.

Oh good, it's NOT just me... I'm having the same problem! Just started happening about 2-3 weeks ago. The lights on some or all of my Floodlight Cam Wired Plus cams go on at random times, but won't go off. The were working fine for well over a year. I've tried reboots in app, power cycles, and even a factory reset on all, but it only works for a day or two before it starts happening again. I've made several calls to Ring Tech support, but have not heard back from engineering on it yet. If you call support, please be sure to mention you are not the only one!
