Ring floodlight 1st generation lights turn off before scheduled off time

The first generation floodlight lights randomly turn off before the scheduled off time. It usually happens once every 7 to 14 days. Had the light for about a year and has always done it. Others have posted they have the same problem that it didn't used to do this. I called ring support multiple times and went through every possible troubleshooting options and they were not able to resolve so i just gave up. Will there ever be a fix for it? The product should work as advertised but it doesnt.
