Ring Cam notifies of motion but does not display video

Wired stick up cam shows “offline” on video display screen. However, it still sends notifications of motion when motion is detected. Cam is directly next to the WiFi router. We have a wireless peephole cam which works flawlessly on the same WiFi network, at an even greater distance than the stick up cam. Have tried factory resetting, setup multiple times with same result.Please help me!

    Hi @Greenebean. Have you checked the status on a different smartphone or tablet if you have one available? I'd also make sure that your Ring App and your phone or tablet's OS is fully updated. If everything looks good on that front, then our support team will be able to take a closer look at this to help figure out what's causing it to appear offline but still function.
