Recorded events just disappeared

Our cat got out late last night and I was able to see her on the doorbell camera around 5 times. Went back later to look again and all those events are just gone (no I did not delete them). They were all frm 1am to 4am and now the first event of the day is showing around 5:30am. This worries me that events I never got to see may have gone missing as well. Any tips to help solve this? I did try and force quite the app (iPad) as sometimes events don't show up until I do this but that did not help.
