Rapid Ring app works. Main Ring App does not

I can’t use live view in my Ring App. My wife can. Her phone is Same type of iPhone, same location etc. However Rapid Ring App live view does work for me. Any ideas why the main app live view is broken but rapid live view works. Everything possible has been reset. Internet speed is awesome. So please don’t reply with the usual useless standard suggestions. PS it used to work on my phone just fine Thanks

    Hi there, @DaddyMac! The Rapid Ring app is designed for the quickest access to live view. Whether it be mobile device connection differences, too many apps open, or mobile device processing, the Rapid Ring app is meant to be far less robust than the main Ring app. If your live view is working on Rapid Ring, this is a great sign that your Ring device is working as intended. Please ensure there is no vpn enabled on your mobile device, and try out wifi connection versus cellular data to see if one works better with the main Ring app. If not, the Rapid Ring app will be best for live view.       I have the exact same issue. Ring app working fine but rapid ring doe not open live view. It used to but does not anymore. App has been reset, phone reset, log in log out, WiFi reset….. all the normal/obvious has been done but no joy. It is not a WiFi issue. Any help would be great? I also have an iPhone XR.

        Hi @JasperIrl. Make sure you don't have any VPNs or special security settings on your phone that could impact the Rapid Ring app's ability to work. Test the Live View both on wifi and on cellular data to see if there's a difference between the two as that will help narrow things down as well.

        There is no VPN. The normal ring app works fine on WiFi and cellular. It is an issue with Rapid Ring app or iPhone.
