Physical on/off switch for Floodlight cam 2

Starting a new thread since old was closed. You can add a Leviton Decor smartswitch, and use Ring to create a group to separate the Ring cam from the Ring flood, then use Alexa routine to connect the switch to the flood. You’ll now have both the original wall switch (which now powers the Ring Cam/Light) and the smartswitch for the light only. If you want to replace the original wall switch with the smartswitch only - you just change the wiring to always be “on” for the Ring Cam/Light. Somewhat complex and relies on having Alexa. But works consistently for me.
