I called Ring to make a complaint and I was directed here. I use a ring camera for my business. I normally use the notifications for movement but today I had some free time and turned on live so I can see when my client arrived. I also have a doorbell for backup. I turned my live on at 12:55am waiting for a client at 1pm. My client was late but I kept my live on. I heard my door chime go off at 1:07pm but when I looked at the live no one was there. Sometimes my door chime goes off off on windy days and today it is very windy. I paid it no mind. The live is still running. I heard my door chime goes off off again at 1:10pm, looked at my live and again saw nothing. Two minutes later I decided to check the door and saw nothing client! I get a message from my client a minute later that they were there and waiting in the lobby for me. They left and are very upset that no one was at the building. I was dumbfounded!! I said I have my camera on and no one has arrived. Long story short my client left, and Iost a $100 income due to my camera not working correctly!! When I went to find the feed, history, wouldn’t show me anything! Not until I closed out the app and then I saw the feed on live!!!!!!!! This is unacceptable!! I want to be compensated for the money I lost today to pay my bills!
