New Stick Up Cam with Older Solar Panel
I was thinking of getting the new Stick Up Cam Battery model but it appears after looking at the manual the older solar panel I am currently using with my v1 Stick Up Camera will not work due using micro USB cord to plug into the camera. Is the only workaround is to purchase a new solar panel?

If Ring is going to change the design of the power ports on its cameras and solar panels, then they should include the required adapters with the solar panels to start with. We shouldn't have to call Ring Support to get an adapter that should have been included. This is particularly irksome since Ring is changing from a standard MicroUSB port that is compatible with practically anything, to a proprietary pin port that only compatible with specific devices. Very bad decision on Ring's part.

The Ring Stick Up Cam (2nd & 3rd Generations) take a 1.35mm barrel style charging connector. You can buy a Micro USB female to 1.35mm male cable adapter that works with the old style Ring solar panel to charge the new Stick up Cam, it can be found on the davoice website by searching for: Micro USB to 1.35mm Cable Adapter for Old Ring Solar Panel and New Stick Up Cam
