new router - reset ring spotlight

im looking to get a ring spotlight cam to go with my doorbell, my question is when i get a new router do i have to get out the ladder and climb on the roof each time i get a new router? ive had the ring doorbell for a few years now and since then ive been thru 3 routers (T- mobile internet) and each time i have to take the cover off the ring, go thru the set up process and add it to the network.  also every once in a while, the ring connection needs reset for whatever unknown reason.  in simple terms do i have to go up on the roof where the spotlight would be every time i have to reset the thing?  im not getting any younger and the ladder gets a little heavier each time.
