I get message that my 30 trial protect plan is starting but it’s already started.

Hi @Baco. With every new device setup, you get a free 30 day trial of the Ring Protect Plus Plan. If there is already a plan in order, you will just have a free month of the plan to take over the old plan, which the old plan will then resume later on. Therefore, since you got the device replaced and it's a new device setup, this is why you see the trial. :)
