Microphone stopped working with indoor camera

We use an indoor camera as a baby monitor in our twins room. The microphone worked for several months, but now has stopped. We can still hear the kids through the app, but when we try to speak to them the sound doesn’t come through the camera. We’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting, as well as checking our settings to ensure the mic is allowed. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app too. We just got this camera less than 6 months ago.

Hi @abittner92! Great job covering these steps to get this resolved. In addition to what you've done, please ensure bluetooth and VPN is disabled on your mobile device, as well as testing on another mobile device entirely, if possible. Try also power cycling the Camera, by unplugging and plugging back in. Audio connection concerns are often related to wifi, mobile device, or Ring app communication variables. The best next thing to check is your wifi signal strength, or RSSI, which can be found in the Device Health section of your Ring app. [Check out our Community post about RSSI](https://community.ring.com/t5/Ring-Device-Tips-and-How-To-s/How-it-Works-Your-Ring-Device-RSSI-Good-vs-Poor/ba-p/751) for tips on optimizing this signal strength. Depending on how you are answering a live video, sometimes the microphone has to be enabled by pressing the green button or the microphone symbol. I hope this helps! :)
