  Generally speaking, an ethernet cable will start to degrade in performance when over 300 feet in length. As for powerline adaptors or extenders, those devices will require some planning for network and power connection, and would likely not provide better connection than an ethernet cable, especially if connected via Wifi.   Hi, Thanks for the response. This is for the Ring Elite cameras. Just to be sure I can set them up as follows: using ethernet cable powerline adaptors (passthrough power design) that are plugged into an electric socket -- connect the Ring injector adaptor to the powerline plug ---connect my ethernet cable to powerline adaptor -- connect other end of my ethernet cable to injector adaptor -- connect ring ethernet cable from injector into camera?
