I bought 2 Ring stick up battery security cameras to try. Now I dont know if there is a limitation on Live view when you are in your first months free trial but I am seriously un-impressed. I can use live view when using a browser on my windows laptop but it has never worked on two android phones and it doesnt work on my iPad. On each mobile device it tries to connect then just says Could not open live view. Please , try again. This is using the Ring app downloaded from the Android and Apple app stores so its the latest version. If this is the limitation of the Ring products, I will be sending back for a refund and looking at a different company's product. The cameras connectivity is NOT an issue and both strengths are very good. I believe this is a limitation in the latest Ring App.

Hi @DET100. There are no specific limitations on Live View that would prevent you from using it during your Ring Protect Trial. Since you are able to access Live View on the browser, this indicates it is not a connection issue with the Stick Up Cams. If you have a VPN on your mobile devices, make sure it is disabled as the Ring app is not compatible with the use of a VPN. I'd also recommend testing the Live View on both wifi and cellular data on your mobile devices to see if this concern persists across both connections. You can find additional troubleshooting tips for Live View [here](https://community.ring.com/t/ring-live-view-not-working-or-connecting-ring-troubleshooting-tips/249) in order to narrow down what the cause may be. If none of these suggestions work and you're still unable to access Live View on your mobile devices, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). They can take a deeper look and offer more in-depth troubleshooting assistance.
