Hi @Ake. If your lights are Spotlight Cam lights are coming on a night, It's most likely detecting motion to record. You can adjust your Spotlight Cams Motion Settings by reading over this Help Center Article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022462472-Utilizing-Motion-Detection-with-your-Ring-Battery-Devices).

HI, there. I have the same problem, during dark the lights come on every 10 minutes, all night long. I just purchased 1 spotlight, which had that problem. I received my replacement and placed it yesterday, it does the same thing. Is there an answer yet as to why this happens? Changing settings doesn't seem to help one bit. There is no recording. And there is no animal coming by EVERY 10 minutes.

Hi @willyb. You can read more on how to control the lights on your Spotlight Cam in our Help Center Article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000311583-Controlling-the-Lights-on-the-Spotlight-Cam-Battery). Another basic troubleshooting step you can try is to reset your Camera and set it back up in the Ring App to ensure everything is operating smoothly. To reset the Camera, you'll want to hold down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After that's complete, take it through a new setup in the Ring App by following the steps under Set Up a Device. Should this concern persist after trying these steps, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406) so they can take a deeper look at this for you. We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times.
