LCD lights failed

Have had my device for only 2 years and the LCD lights have failed. Tried all steps, did not work. Was told my only option for their failure was to buy another one. This should NOT happen, and the support team wants me to buy another. Looks like I'm going to Arlo, unreal this crappy equipment.
