Hi @user40987. The Ring Car Cam uses built-in sensors to detect a physical disturbance to your vehicle when it’s parked, such as an impact or break-in. It is not designed to detect someone passing by or just looking inside. The Interior Motion Verification feature will have your Car Cam focus only on motion detected inside your vehicle, such as someone entering your car. Any physical disturbances outside your vehicle will be ignored if this feature is toggled on. You can choose to have Interior Motion Verification toggled on or off based on what will fit your needs best.
