Indoor camera power lead extension cable
Hi all Ive just purchased a indoor camera and need to extend the power cable, but not the plug end. Does anyone know what connection to the camera i require?

Cable is so short. I have tall ceilings and the outlets are widely spaces near the floor. I am unable to place the ring indoor wired camera in an optimal coverage location for large rooms. I found other cameras that will use any extra long usb cable. On Amazon, they will not be listed for Ring, of course. I have six of these other cameras now.

If the power adapter and cable included with your Indoor Cam is not long enough, check out our longer [Indoor Cam plug in adapter](https://store.ring.com/collections/accessories/products/power-adapter-10-indoor-cam). This can be found on the accessories page at Ring.com. We do not recommend using various adapter pieces or 3rd party cable extenders, as they might not be rated for or deliver the proper amount of power needed for your Indoor Cam. I hope this helps! :)
