Indoor Cam wont connect

Just picked up a 1080p plug in indoor cam to try to catch some garage theives. What a disappointment, I've been trying to get it to connect to wifi all afternoon and it fails every time. Too far from the router? Nope, even with them sitting right next to each other it doesnt work. It keeps telling me to check my password. I know I am entering it correctly. Troubleshooting is as useless as this camera. I'm ready to return it I'm so pissed off. Hopefully someone can help me figure this out.

Hi @StarWarsFamily. Is your wifi router dual-band? If you're receiving the message that your wifi password is incorrect, check if there is a different SSID and password for both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz connections. This will be the same on some routers, but it can differ so it's worth checking. Then, make sure your phone is not autofilling an old or incorrect wifi password during the setup process. We also have various troubleshooting tips for the setup process [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/217240386-Fixing-Repeated-In-App-Setup-Failures). If this issue persists after verifying the network information and reviewing the troubleshooting steps, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406#callus). If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support.
