Indoor cam 2nd gen plug in length of lead

Purchased an indoor cam 2nd gen plug in. Means it has a lead that plugs into electric socket. The lead is way too short. I gather there are many asked this question. Are there any current effective upgrades if your indoor cam has a lead attached? Is best way getting a battery operated indoor and adapter? Is there a lead that is at least 4m? Ta.

Hi @user70318. You could purchase the [10-foot USB-A to Micro USB Power Cable for the Indoor Cam 2nd Gen](https://ring.com/products/10-ft-usb-a-to-micro-usb-cable). You can use this longer cable instead of the 6.5-foot cable it comes with. Other than that, there is no other extension. You could also purchase a [Stick Up Cam Plug-In](https://ring.com/products/stick-up-security-camera-plug-in) instead, which comes with an indoor/outdoor adapter that is about 22 feet long when put together.
