Subject: Request for Replacement Camera and Battery Due to Manufacturing Defect Dear Ring Support Team, I am writing to formally request a replacement for my certified refurbished Ring camera, purchased in July 2024. The camera was installed in November 2024, but upon replacing the battery, I discovered significant water damage inside the unit. Upon inspection, I noticed one side of the camera was improperly sealed, allowing water to enter the unit. This manufacturing defect is outside of my control and indicates a failure to meet the standards expected of a certified refurbished product. I have attached photos documenting the damage and the unsealed side of the camera. The product was sold with a one-year warranty, and I believe this issue qualifies as a warranty-covered defect. I kindly request a replacement camera and battery. Please respond within 7 business days to resolve this issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Ring Customer
