Floodlight given up the ghost

Like a huge number of posts I have read, the floodlight on my reasonably (within the last 12 months) security camera no longer work. Not sure what to do as I was told abruptly by a support representative that I need to call to troubleshoot the problem. However, I know what the problem is. The light no longer works?Not the greatest first experience of your client service. Any ideas other than wasting my time on the expensive support line?
