Floodlight Cam - Loud High Pitched Sound
My Floodlight Cam began emitting a loud, high-pitched noise in the middle of the night. Unfortunately, it took me awhile to realize it was coming from the Floodlight Cam. Fortunately, I have it on a switch so I was able to power cycle it once I determined it was the Floodlight. There are threads here going back to 2020 with the same issue. Where do we report this so that Ring can find the cause and prevent it from happening? Or perhaps it should be filed as a warranty claim so that it can get replaced and Ring knows it’s a problem?

Same happened to me last night. I didn't realize it was coming from my Floodlight Cam until early morning when I briefly stepped outside. VERY LOUD! I have good neighbors....no one banged on my door. I power cycled it from the circuit breaker. It resolved the issue. I wish we knew the cause and a way to prevent, and a way to factory reset through the Ring App.

If the high-pitched noise is still occurring, I'd also recommend performing a full reset by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds.
