Floodlight Cam Light issue

I have a floodlight cam. When I turn the light on in the app it stays on continuously rather than only coming on when it detects motion. Can anyone help?

Hi @Unknown-user. Turning the light on in the Ring app works just like a Light Switch. If you want to have your lights come on when there is Motion, toggle the Motion-Activated Lights option. This can be found by tapping the Device Settings Tile, then Light Settings. I hope this helps.
