  Hi @corbett79. The lights on your Floodlight Cam shouldn't be flashing. Try fully resetting your Floodlight Cam by holding down the setup button on the top for at least 20 seconds. After this reset is complete, perform a new setup in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device. If that doesn't resolve the issue of the flashing lights, the next best step would be to follow up with our [support team](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406#callus) for further assistance.

  Unfortunately, this didn’t work. I am having to purchase a new one, but I did get a fairly nice discount. I hope I can save the camera on the faulty floodlight camera and use elsewhere.

  That’s okay, I found a similar replacement elsewhere. It’s a shame Ring won’t make this part available when it is a simple solution to save a malfunctioning device only a few years old.
