Failing to save mode setting changes

Hi, for the last two weeks or so I can no longer save mode setting changes for my security cameras. When I go to Settings → Modes → Disarmed → Cameras and toggle off “mode detection” and click save I get the error message “failed to save settings. please try again”. I get the same message for all cameras and all modes, on the website or phone app. all cameras have up to date software. I’m logged in as the admin for the account (there are no shared users). Anybody else experienced this issue or advice on how to resolve it?

Hi neighbors. This issue has now been resolved. You should be able to save your Mode Settings with no errors. If you are still having this concern, give our support team a call to further investigate this with you.

Hi @user41968. Do you have an active [Ring Protect subscription](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001671383-General-Information-on-Ring-Protect-Subscription-Plans) for your Cameras? This could either be the Basic plan applied to each Camera, or the Plus plan which would cover all Cameras at one Location.

Hi @Caitlyn_Ring I am also experiencing this same issue. I am on a Protect trial subscription for another 28 days. Each time I try to update any device in “Modes Settings” I also get “Failed to save settings. Please try again.” This is both when I try on mobile app and in a web browser. This is preventing me from updating my cameras altogether in mode settings. Please advise as this is a critical bug that doesn’t have a clear cause. I tried chatting with online support and they could not help. @user41968 did you discover a solution?

Just added an additional stick up camera to my current three. Went to edit the disarmed mode to copy my other cams and it says ‘something went wrong. Try again later ‘ I checked to see if I could edit my other 3 cameras but now there modes can’t be edited either. Were fine when I set them up a few weeks ago. I’ve tried through the app and also the webpage and also on multiple devices and on and off wifi. Still can’t edit the modes. Any ideas ?

I’ve been getting this for a couple of days now, both on mobile app and via my PC - I see that this has happened to many people of several years, but I’ve not seen any solution, other than Ring saying “we’ve fixed it” - do I need to report it to them,do you think?
