  I asked the question a while ago and was told it would invalidate the warranty. It's stupid. I cut it regardless.

  Thanks for the reply, Problem is that I was going to pay the top level care subscription however if it voids the warranty what's the point I can't believe that they would not think ahead that people would want to feed the cable through walls

  Did you have a video quality problems from doing that? I cut mine also, but my video isn’t even viewable most times.
