Cutting off the Plug on Spotlight Camera
Morning All, Hope you all had a good Easter, Am I right in thinking if I cut the mains plug off my Spotlight Camera in order to feed the cable from the outside wall into my property that I will null and void the warranty ?

Thanks for the reply, Problem is that I was going to pay the top level care subscription however if it voids the warranty what's the point I can't believe that they would not think ahead that people would want to feed the cable through walls

Hi there, neighbors!
was told it would invalidate the warranty.
This is correct. We do not advise altering your Ring devices in any way that is unintended, or not by design. Doing so can result in unintended operation and voiding of your device warranty. Remember to check out our accessories page at Ring.com for various solutions. If you are looking for something that is unavailable, feel free to add this request on our [Feature Request Board](https://community.ring.com/c/products/feature-request-board/24). This way other neighbors can share their interest in one place, that we can organize and share with our teams here. :)

I asked the question a while ago and was told it would invalidate the warranty. It's stupid. I cut it regardless.
