Changing WiFi Network Remotely on Indoor Camera
An elderly relative is moving to a new house in a distant country. We have Ring cameras in the current location. We want to have them moved to the new location where they will be on a new network. WE WILL NOT BE IN THE DISTANT COUNTRY FOR THE MOVE but the Ring cameras are all on our account through our phone. How can we change the WiFi network settings on the cameras so that when they are moved to the new location they can connect to the new WiFi network and allow us to continue to help our elderly relative? Can we change the WiFi settings to those of the new location BEFORE they move?

Hi @ab11afd74ee879002e273597e3c9ca. You will need to be with the Indoor Cam in order to connect it to the new wifi network. Alternatively, you can guide your relative through the process if they are signed into the appropriate Ring account. You can follow [these steps](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034825092-How-to-Reconnect-Your-Ring-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera-to-Wifi-or-Change-Your-Wifi-Network) to reconnect your Indoor cam to wifi in the Ring App: 1. Tap on the three lines on the top left 2. Tap **Devices** 3. Select the Indoor Camera. The next screen is the Device Dashboard. 4. Tap on **Device Health** 5. Tap on **Reconnect to Wifi** or **Change Wifi Network.** From there, you or your relative would need to follow the prompts to get the Indoor Cam connected to wifi. Another option you could try is to set up the wifi network at the new location to be the same network name and password as the original wifi network that the Indoor Cam is already connected to.
