Camera Siren Sound While Recording Motion

Question

It seems like our cameras detected motion last night and were setting off the sirens while actively recording. It seemed to occur across 4 of the cameras while they were detecting the person. Any advice?

Hi @TKinney. The Siren on Ring Cameras do not automatically go off with Motion Detection, there is no feature available that should do that. The only way the Siren can go off on a Camera is either by someone manually using the Ring app to activate it or if you have a Ring Alarm System linked to it, which will cause the Siren to go off on a Camera if the Alarm is triggered. If no one activated the Sirens using the Ring app and you do not have Ring Alarm linked to them, reach out to our [support team](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036196372) to further investigate this with you.
