Camera not connecting to WiFi, even though battery is charged
Hi, I have a WiFi spotlight camera that does not connect to the WiFi. I have tried to reconnect it (by setting it up again) twice to no avail. I have rebooted the router and charged the batteries both times (on different days). The WiFi has not changed. I have another spotlight camera that does work. It didn’t for a bit, but I was able to reconnect it. How do I fix this issue? It hasn’t been connected to the network for two weeks. Thanks.

After restoring it to factory settings, the problem was solved for me. But I couldn't find a permanent solution either, so I have to reset it to factory settings every time I experience a problem.

Hi @user_870929 I'm glad to hear that a factory reset was able to resolve this for you. If your Ring Camera is frequently disconnecting from the wifi, and is unable to reconnect to the wifi automatically, it may be an issue with the signal. Make sure your camera isn't too far from the router, and verify that the ports and protocols used by Ring devices are open on your router. If this issue persists, I'd recommend following up with our support team to take a closer look.

Hi @user83022. Try also factory-resetting the Camera by pressing and holding the setup button on it for 20–25 seconds. I would also recommend bringing the Camera into the same room as the router to see if it helps. You can also try completing your setup using a different phone or tablet. If you have tried these steps and are still having the same concern, give our support team a call for further assistance.
