battery control in my spotlight camera pro
wireless-security-cameras

my camera works fine, my batteries work fine when battery #1 is low, near depletion, the camera pulls power from #2 (after pulling a battery out of compartment on the right looking at camera from front, I see #1 is right, 2 is left ) so after taking #1 out (from the right side compartment) the camera pulls power from #2 (left) correctly, still operating. After re-charging battery #1 and following day, inserting the re-charged battery back into the right compartment, the device suddenly switches back to pulling power from #1 (right), without continuing to pull from #2 (left). This seems to lead to always depleting/recharging the same battery over and over, without fully utilizing # 2 I expected the #2 battery to be the power source until it was itself at 3% or low, then switching back to #1. Is there a way to control this on the device ?    otherwise to fully utilize both batteries for longevity, I must physically place battery #2 into the right side to get it as the power source #2 is never drained from the #2 side (left), if you re-insert a #1...

Hi @user_1ca9ba. I'd be happy to check with my team to see if this is intended behavior or not. In the meantime, please reboot the Spotlight Cam using the reboot option on the Device Health page in the Ring app. A reboot is a good troubleshooting step for common performance errors.
