Backup batteries for ring camera
I just purchased Ring spotlight camera and see that it can hold two rechargable battery packs. If two packs are installed do they work in series when the first gets low or is this only a recepticle to hold the second pack? I see that there are terminals at the bottom of both recepticles

Thank you! I discovered that the solar panels are only slightly more expensive than a second battery pack so I'm going to go that route and not have to worry about retrieving the batteries from the camera for recharging....

PSYou really need to put that in the documentation. It is NOWHERE to be found. Shouldn't have to search on here to find out.

Good question @rcv! You are correct. When 2 batteries are used with your Spotlight Cam, it will use one battery at a time, and only switch to the second battery when it is low. I hope this helps! :)
