Am I a ghost??
So, newly installed security camera. Only goes of sporadically but what’s most concerning is there’s been multiple times when I have been outside walking across the driveway with my dog and we’re not on the video at all. There’s no blip where internet goes out, there’s no missing time on the camera, it’s not still, I’m just not there at all. It’s very bizarre. Anyone experience this??

This is odd to hear of @StacyB! Often times when a motion is missed, or a motion recorded video does not capture what you intended it to, we see neighbors find success with motion frequency. [Motion Frequency](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003477106-Understanding-and-Optimizing-Motion-Detection-with-Motion-Frequency) is a setting intended for high traffic areas. When this is set to anything other than "frequent", excessive motion events will be prevented, by design, to preserve battery. As you mentioned the internet did not go down during this time, it is also good to check the wifi signal strength. It is possible that a video not displaying activity, might be a freeze frame of the same image, in the event there is high interference with wifi signal. Check out our [Community post about RSSI](https://community.ring.com/t5/Ring-Device-Tips-and-How-To-s/How-it-Works-Your-Ring-Device-RSSI-Good-vs-Poor/ba-p/751) for tips on optimizing this signal strength. I hope this helps! :)
