The company policy is STUPID.
I have two doorbells. Both on separate basic plans. I planned to purchase additional indoor cameras. I called customer service to ask them to convert the two basic plans to a plus plan to cover all of the cameras I planned to purchase. They told me they couldn’t without crediting/refunding and charging me the new $100 annual fee. I’ve already paid $100 (2 basic plans at 49.99). After an hour, and getting nowhere, I will be purchasing another system and leaving Ring. This policy is ridiculous and I should have been given the grace to transition to the Plus plan. I’ve been a customer for at least 10 years and they’re now losing me and everyone else in my family (at least three other accounts). We do not support a company who would do something like this. This does not show customer appreciation.
