Protection plan is dumb
I just got a ring camera and I got activity from an hour ago. When I went to check on it, it’s locked my a PAID SUBSCRIPTION?!?! What the heck! So I guess if you get robbed and need to see who did it your on your own unless you get the subscription. You can’t go to the cops because there’s basically no evidence.

PLEASE!!! The reason I cancelled was because you “doubled” your price for storage (storage is cheap, btw) and with no monthly pay plans. Found another cam (better video) and better storage for a lot LESS. I will not ever come back to once what was a reliable, affordable company. Just another money grab… because you can, I guess. Just not with me.

Hi @user_c69623. An active Ring subscription is required for access to video recording, among other features. If you do not have an active subscription, you can still open Live View to see what's happening in real time, but nothing will be recorded.
