Why has Ring doubled in subscription cost?
In 2025, my Ring protection plan will be doubling. That seems extremely unreasonable to me after investing in your security system. I, of course will not be renewing and I will be trashing everything Ring from my household. Had you made a reasonable increase like $29.99 then I probably would remain. Start thinking about the folks that are on fixed income. I feel like Ring owes me a refund for the useless equipment I now own.

Agreed, very disappointing! I have purchased multiple cameras, solar panels, etc and now the price doubled! Rings greed will make me look elsewhere.

I agree. Just spent an hour on chat support to get the runaround, told that I was receiving a discount since starting service in 2019, that extra features make the price more than fair, and - the one I love the most - that if the issue is that I can't afford the new price, monitoring is optional. PLUS, chat says they have no contact into to Corporate and no way to register a complain other than in this community. Also, did you know that you don't get a transcript of your chat? I was told that I had to submit a data request to download my personal data from https://account.ring.com/account/control-center/data-requests, and that the chat transcript would be there - and that it might take 24 hours to receive it. It will be interesting to see if it is received and what type of info is included. SO many red flags that I have never experienced with Ring before. Looks like I have some shopping to do.

UAaaaaand, I just got an email confirmation of the data request that says please allow THIRTY, yes 30, days to process the request. Guess it's a good thing I took photos of the chat. I am no longer a ring fan. What happened?? When did they lose all credibility, integrity, and professionalism?

I agree with you. Nice bait and switch strategy, we all invest in equipment thinking that the annual fees are reasonable, and once you get comfortable they double the fees on us. Insulting, I will be trashing all ring equipment and going with Wyze.
