Upgrading and Getting Cheated by Ring

Has anyone else "upgraded" their Ring plan only to be cheated out of the current month on the old plan? It is only about $5 but instead of updating and prorating the old plan they canceled the current plan which was a couple of days into the annual renewal and then only credited me for the next 11 months. No partial credit on the current month. This is so petty and unprofessional as they steal from their own customers who are asking for more services.
