I have had Ring cameras since 2023. I recently purchased another camera. Since that purchase, I have been receiving notifications that my 'trial' is about to end.  When I log into my account it says that I have four cameras, but with the recent purchase, which shows up in my account, I have five.  As I am unable to talk to a human, can anyone tell me what the 'trial' is about, when I have an existing subscription? Do I need to somehow 'add' the new camera to my subscription?  Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi @user_44ccb3. When you purchase a new device, they will sometimes include a free trial of the Premium Ring Home Plan subscription. This is just letting you know that your free trail is about to end. This won't affect your current Home Plan, which you can manage by logging into Ring.com

I'm in the same situation.  Have a basic plan for 1 camera (doorbell) that expires Sept 2025.  Received a outside light/camera and the trial on that is expiring in a few days.  The basic plan is for 1 camera only, so I'll need to update my plan to cover multiple devices.  My question is....will I get a credit back for my yearly auto-renewal if I sign-up for a new plan that covers both of my devices?

Hi @user_44ccb3. You will be charged full price for the new plan you are subscribing to. Then you will receive a prorated refund of what you have not used of your previous plan.
