Ring Protect Plan - Fake Promises and Terrible Customer Service

I have been a long-time customer of Ring, paying for the Ring Protect Plan for multiple years. Unfortunately, my experience with their customer service and warranty support has been incredibly disappointing. Recently, my Ring Doorbell Pro 2 and Ring Floodlight Pro 2 began experiencing issues. Despite thorough troubleshooting on my end, the problems persisted. When I reached out to Ring for warranty support, I discovered that a payment issue with my Ring Protect Plan had caused my warranty to lapse. Even though I resolved the payment issue on the same day, Ring refused to honor the warranty and provide any support for my devices. This lack of flexibility and customer care was incredibly frustrating. After years of paying for their plan, I expected better service and support, especially given that the payment issue was promptly addressed. As a result, I am now selling my remaining Ring devices and moving on to a more reputable company that values customer support and stands by its warranties. If you’re considering Ring, be aware that their warranty support may not be as reliable as you’d hope. I recommend researching alternative companies with better customer service and support policies.
