Ridiculous to take away modes
app-settings
wireless-security-cameras

It’s absolutely ridiculous that you took away the feature to turn Ring cameras to Home Mode for those who only pay for the basic plan. I have ONE camera. It’s scammy. I don’t care about being able to automate or sync with Alexa; I just want to NOT have my camera turned on but apparently that is too much to ask. What is the point of having this product if I can’t use the one feature I consistently and reliably used?

What's even worse is if you have chimes. When you turn off motion capture on the phone via clicking on each cameras icon in the upper right corner and going into settings to turn off motion recording we still get notifications on the chimes, and phone. It's a disaster. Thankfully, I installed the Floodlight camera in a spot where there was a light switch already hooked up for the old floodlights. I guess I just have to literally flip the switch like we live in the 90's to turn it off. I think the people who made this decision drink too much Brando, and watch too much of that movie "Idiocracy".

Just cancelled my subscription.  I don’t appreciate this type of greed.   If you want more money make reasonable increases in plans.  Taking away features to make people upgrade is repulsive.   I hope others also just say no and make ring pay for the greed.

Agreed. Now it looks like to turn off the camera you have to go into settings to disable/enable motion detection. Plain dumb.
