No snapshots and missing detection
troubleshooting
snapshot

Hi,I have the Home Standard Plan.I've searched online, including a similar question (https://community.ring.com/conversations/general-topics/i-cant-find-ring-camera-snapshots/658041f251f6e6fe78600fc0) but can't find an answer to my question of where to find snapshots from my Stick-Up Stick Up Cam Pro or Stick Up Cam (3rd Gen) cameras. I've set everything up, as per all the instructions and videos online, but under Event History all I can see is thumbnails of recent Live Views and Person Detected videos, no snapshots. I've had the cameras for 6 months and I only noticed this because I had two 'person detections' last week which are suspicious and I want to know what happened immediately after the short motion detection video ended. Why can't I see any snapshots anywhere, even those these are all set up to activate (every 3 minutes on the pro camera and every 14 minutes on the 3rd Gen camera)? On another point, for both separate'person detections' it's very disappointing that the Cam Pro detected people walking up a path before going to an area not covered by the camera, but didn't detect them returning, even though they must have come back the same way (as there's no other way out). This happened twice in 2 days! How can that happen? Tks in advance for any help, as both issues are very frustrating.

Hi, and thanks for your helpful replies. I did as you suggested. I'm now trying to see what happened after the dedected motion videos, so how can I view and download snapshots from then onwards please? I ask because the image on the screen and time in the 'timeline' immediately after the 2 dedected motions don't change at all, ie the displayed time and date is stuck on 18/06/25 - 10:40:18, despite the timeline moving to just before 23 (hrs) that same day, when the image should surely be showing nighttime? After 23.00 hrs I get the message "This footage is unavailable" and there's nothing before the next motion dedection video. If I press the pause option and download the snapshot at any time up to 23 (hrs), including just before then when it was obviously dark, the downloaded photo is always the same and always in daylight. Why? It's frustrating that there's no time stamped on any of the downloaded snapshots. Is that option available, as I couldn't see it anywhere? When I try and look at the timeline immediately before the 2 detected motions, I again get a message saying "This footage is unavailable". Why am I getting that message please? Thanks in advance for your help.
