Do I need to upgrade my plan to add one camera?

I currently have the Ring alarm (self-monitored) with Home Basic plan. I added the Battery Doorbell Plus a few weeks ago. However, the other day I noticed I was prompted to upgrade my plan to playback any video footage but the Ring website says the Basic plan covers one camera including playback. Why am I being asked to upgrade to the Home Standard plan?

Hi @user_c3741d. Do you have these devices set up at different locations? Plans do not apply across locations. It's also possible the Basic plan isn't properly applying to your new Battery Doorbell since you had the plan prior to setting up the Doorbell. The Basic plan is attached to a single Doorbell or Camera, while the Standard plan covers all devices at one location. I'd recommend contacting our social support team @Ring on Facebook, X, or Instagram to take a closer look.
