I was grandfathered in. Paying $9.99 a month. I was told since I have been a long time customer my subscription wouldn’t change as long as my subscription remained active. However you guys increased my plan to $19.99 a month. Why?

Hi @user_1d1e8b. Ring Protect plans were transitioned to Ring Home plans in November 2024. Were you a Ring Protect Plus subscriber with a Ring Alarm Security System? If so, you should have received an email about your plan on March 10, 2025, advising you that your plan would be transitioned to Ring Home Standard with Alarm Professional Monitoring on your first renewal after April 8, 2025. However, we don't have access to account or subscription details on the Ring Community, so I cannot verify which plan you currently have. You can review your plan details by logging in on Ring.com, and clicking the Plan tab. You can also reach out to our support team @Ring on Facebook, X, or Instagram for further assistance.
